• Wetlands and coastal permitting: starting at the local level with pre-hearing review of the regulations, meetings with local officials and engineers, attend hearings at the local level, commence appeals if necessary and monitor projects for compliance with any orders or regulations.
• Dredging projects: research historical deeds for the status of the project. Review Chapter 91 regulations and coordinate with engineers. File all applicable paperwork for permitting.
• Zoning and subdivision control: review plans and local regulations to determine proper avenues for permitting.
• Hazardous waste and real estate transactions: Hazardous waste liability and management including clean up procedures and regulations, environmental insurance defense and coverage claims.
• Counsel to businesses affected by environmental regulations such as oil, gas, service station owners, drycleaners and manufacturers.
• Real estate: provides representation for real estate developers such as Brownfields redevelopment, complex land use and commercial and residential real estate transactions, comprehensive permitting, affordable housing, and linkage to impact fees, regulatory takings, tax abatements and environmental damage claims.
