- Represents corporate and institutional clients in development and permitting issues surrounding zoning and administrative law.
- Represents individual, corporate, and institutional clients in several areas of commercial litigation, including corporate law, alcoholic beverages law, trusts and estates, insures and insureds, zoning, and family law.
- Represents broker-dealers, registered representatives, and corporate clients regarding compliance and regulatory issues concerning SEC and state regulatory matters, including administrative litigation and arbitrations.
- Provides general corporate governance counsel to corporate clients, including issues regarding corporate formation, commercial contracts, and business operations.

Professional and Community Involvements
Prior to joining Rubin and Rudman, Mr. Burkett was an attorney at the Law Offices of William G. Ferullo LLC, of Counsel to McDermott, Quilty, and Miller, LLP, where he focused in zoning, leasing, alcohol and entertainment licensing, and commercial litigation.
Mr. Burkett acted as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court for the 2004-2005 term.
