NEWS: Connolly Quoted on SJC Ruling on Acquisition of EMC

Boston (Mar. 16, 2017) – Business litigation partner Mike Connolly was among Boston lawyers interviewed by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly on the Supreme Judicial Court’s ruling in a case brought by shareholders objecting to the acquisition of EMC Corp. by Dell. The decision helps assure Massachusetts companies that their mergers may be less susceptible to challenges than in Delaware.  Mike agreed with other local attorneys, saying “The decision is evidence of Massachusetts being a business-friendly jurisdiction, at least as far as corporate governance is concerned.”
