Thomas Brantley is a business attorney with decades of experience representing companies, business owners, executives, and investors. A valued resource to his colleagues at Rubin and Rudman, Tom advises on an extensive range of transactional matters, including entity formations, reorganizations, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcies. He negotiates and drafts a variety of business agreements, including partnership and LLC agreements, incentive compensation arrangements, stock and asset purchase and merger agreements, investment, loan, redemption, employment, separation and settlement agreements.

Tom also represents companies and individuals before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR). He is effective in negotiating and structuring settlements of disputes that arise from the sale of businesses and executive compensation, as well as fiduciary and other matters.

For some business owners and wealthy individuals, Tom provides basic estate planning advice. He also assists corporations, partnerships and LLCs, non-profit organizations, individuals and trusts with tax planning.
