Associate, Trusts and Estates
Rubin and Rudman LLP, a prominent mid-size law firm based in Boston, is seeking a senior level associate to join our Trusts and Estates practice. As one of the largest and most renowned trusts and estates practices in Massachusetts, this group is a cornerstone of our firm’s success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in trusts and estates planning and administration, working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and their advisors on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. The position requires extensive drafting of core and complex estate planning and financial documents providing for clients’ asset protection, business succession planning, and minimizing income tax, gift tax, and estate tax consequences.
We are seeking a self-motivated, hyper-organized attorney with a passion for exceptional client service. This individual will work directly with one of our seasoned trusts and estates partners to facilitate and manage an existing high-volume practice. The clientele includes multi-generational family enterprises, privately held businesses, law and accounting firms, medical practices, financial service providers, supply-chain purchasing and distribution entities, and non-profit organizations.

Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school, membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.
- LL.M. in Taxation is a bonus but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts and estates administration, and estate and gift tax planning.
- Highly skilled and efficient in drafting and reviewing estate planning and financial documents.
- Self-motivated and personable; able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and manage matters independently and proactively.
- Prior experience at a regional or national law firm or a well-regarded local firm.
