Elder Law Clerk/Assistant

Rubin and Rudman LLP, an established mid-size, Boston-based law firm, seeks a professional, responsible, and motivated recent law school graduate to provide administrative and legal support to a partner with a law practice focusing on elder law and estate planning. The ideal candidate will possess a law degree with an interest in elder law or estate planning. This is a great opportunity for a recent law school graduate to obtain hands-on experience working in the legal profession.


  • Act as liaison with clients, professional contacts and internal staff
  • Prepare documents
  • Draft correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy
  • Create presentations for clients and seminars
  • Process mail


  • Experience working as an Administrative Assistant or Paralegal in the legal field is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous, accurate, and have strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and exhibit initiative while working in a fast based team environment
  • Possess a positive attitude and understand the value of a team approach and a strong work-ethic
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software products
