IT Help Desk Support Specialist

Rubin and Rudman, LLP is currently looking for an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join our growing company. The IT Help Desk Support Specialist works as part of a team that provides technical support via phone, in-person, and email for supported applications and systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First level IT Help Desk support skills
  • Troubleshoot/support users on the time financial system
  • Maintain/manage the user/system setups and security access
  • Coordinate with third party support in system maintenance projects, software implementation and upgrades
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016+ (Word/Excel/Outlook; other MS apps a plus)
  • Experience with a document management program (i.e., iManage/Worldox/Net Docs, etc.)
  • Basic familiarity with Windows 10, 11 and MacOS
  • Basic printer/printing troubleshooting skills
  • Basic PDF document creation, editing, and manipulation skills
  • Basic familiarity with Active Directory
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Remote Desktop
  • Familiarity with mobile device application setup (iPhone and Android)
  • Good troubleshooting/communication skills (in deciphering reported issue to find root cause and solution)
  • Experience working with Aderant is a plus
  • Ability to function in a fast paced and service oriented environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects on a daily basis and adjust to shifting priorities
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new applications and software
  • Outstanding sense of customer service
