Trusts and Estates Associate

Rubin and Rudman LLP, a prominent mid-size law firm based in Boston, is seeking an associate to join our Trusts and Estates practice – one of the largest and most renowned practices of its kind in Massachusetts. We are seeking a self-motivated attorney with 2-5 years of experience to support existing practices of partners and associates. Candidates will work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and their advisors to design and implement tailored, tax-efficient wealth preservation strategies and estate plans. The qualified candidate will have hands-on experience drafting core estate planning documents (wills, trusts, health care proxies, powers of attorney, etc.) and sophisticated tax and gifting strategies. Additional experience includes trusts and estates administration.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. degree and membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.
  • 2-5 years of tax and trusts and estates experience, including administration and drafting estate planning documents.
  • Prior experience at a regional or national law firm or a well-regarded local firm.
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills required.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and manage matters
    independently and proactively.
