“And They Call It Puppy Love” – Appellate Div. (DCSD) Affirms Trial Judge; Al Gray Wins Case

Boston (Nov. 22, 2016) – Alfred A. Gray, Jr. successfully defended his client in an unusual adoption case involving Coco, the dog from Aruba found roaming on a beach in Aruba in 2014.  Al’s client, a resident of N. Attleboro, Mass. found the stray dog while vacationing in Aruba. Dehydrated and in distress, Coco was taken to a local veterinarian for medical care. After our client and her family returned home to Massachusetts with Coco, the plaintiffs in this case contacted our client seeking a return of the dog. A suit was then brought. The trial judge rejected any claim to ownership of the dog by the plaintiffs.
