January 31, 2022

Boston, MA (January 2022) – Boston-based, full-service law firm Rubin and Rudman welcomes Sara E. Kitaeff as a valued Partner in its Family Law Department.

Sara’s practice is focused in the areas of domestic relations, including pre and post-nuptial agreements, divorce, paternity matters, child support, custody, and modification and contempt actions. Sara concentrates much of her practice on high net-worth and high-conflict divorce and child custody matters.

“I am thrilled to join Rubin and Rudman, a cornerstone of the practice of law in Boston for more than a century, and to work with such an excellent group of attorneys,” said Sara Kitaeff.

Prior to joining Rubin and Rudman, Sara was an associate at Witmer, Karp, Warner & Ryan LLP, a boutique family law firm in Boston. She was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Spencer Kagan (ret.) of the Middlesex County Probate and Family Court and the Honorable Kathe M. Tuttman of the Massachusetts Superior Court.

“We are excited and pleased Sara is joining our team of dedicated attorneys and expect her experience of more than a decade is going to greatly contribute to our ability to effectively and efficiently resolve issues for our clients,” said Susan B. Grandis, chair of the Family Law Department at Rubin and Rudman.

Sara received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2011. While attending Suffolk, she was the recipient of the Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Evidence and was a Research Assistant for Distinguished Professor and Judge, the late John E. Fenton. She received a B.A. (English) in 2006 from Boston University and attended Phillips Academy Andover.

She serves on the board of a local non-profit, On With Living and Learning (OWLL), a grassroots collective committed to bringing about racial and social justice through art.
