Rubin and Rudman Partner, Jay M. Pabian, Presented at MCLE Program, “Checklist for Family Business Succession Planning”

Boston, MA (February, 2022) – Jay M. Pabian, a Partner at Boston-based, full-service law firm Rubin and Rudman’s Business Law Department, was a featured speaker at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) most recent program, “Checklist for Family Business Succession Planning.”

In this program, both individual speakers and a panel discussed best practices for business transition plans, corporate structure, managing family and business dynamics, and planning for the incapacity of the principal.  The speakers focused on particular challenges faced by family-owned or closely held businesses when the principal is no longer willing or able to continue running the business. The virtual conference took place on February 16, 2022, with rebroadcasts on Thursday, March 3 at 4:00 p.m., and Friday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m.
