Our panelist will offer an overview of the state and municipal laws governing work proposed withing (or close to) wetland resource areas. They will explain the permitting process, as well as appeals taken from resulting decisions. The panelist will also provide attendees with a clear understanding of the laws and procedures required to obtain permits, or resolve enforcement, if work was done without a permit. In addition to understanding the history, legal authority and standard underpinning wetlands permitting, attendees can also expect practical tips and suggestions when appearing before wetland permitting authorities.
