One of the reasons Daniel became a labor and employment attorney was because he wanted to help people—whether by resolving individual workplace issues or shaping policies that impact entire organizations.

Today, Daniel advises public and private sector employers on various employment matters in various industries, including higher education, healthcare, real estate, cannabis, and energy services. His practice includes negotiating and implementing collective bargaining agreements, handling complex labor relations, and defending against employment-related claims. He offers particular insight into issues involving discrimination and harassment allegations, accommodation requests, disciplinary actions, and compliance with the constantly evolving state and federal employment laws.

With a calm and precise approach, Daniel helps clients respond to challenges and proactively manage their workforce through sound policies and practices. He is frequently called upon to revise employee handbooks, update HR operations, and ensure management policies reflect the latest legal developments. He also represents employers before administrative agencies such as the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) and has experience in arbitration and litigation in the District Court of Massachusetts.

Daniel began his career representing national labor unions at a boutique firm focused on labor issues. That experience on the union side still informs his practice today, giving him a practical understanding of how both parties think and negotiate. Clients appreciate his attention to detail, thoughtful guidance, and ability to deliver timely, grounded, and actionable advice.

A graduate of Cornell Law School, Daniel served as the Managing Editor of the International Law Journal and worked extensively with the school’s Labor Law Clinic. He also completed a judicial internship with Justice Anne Patterson of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
