Few attorneys bring together advocacy, scholarship, and service to the family law community as seamlessly as Jared.

Known for his steady presence in high-stakes and emotionally charged matters, Jared guides clients through some of life’s most difficult transitions with skill, creativity, and unwavering focus on their goals.

Jared’s practice spans the full spectrum of domestic relations law, including complex divorce, custody and support disputes, alimony, asset valuation and division, and modification and contempt proceedings. He is also widely experienced in drafting and negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Beyond the trial courts, Jared has authored appellate briefs and argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court on issues ranging from asset division and alimony duration to business valuation methodology and the treatment of expert testimony. His work also extends to protective order proceedings under Chapters 209A and 258E, where he advocates for clients facing urgent and sensitive situations.

Deeply committed to expanding access to justice, Jared chairs the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and frequently serves as a volunteer conciliator through the Judge Jeffrey Abber “We CAN Settle Initiative.” He has also been appointed by the Probate and Family Court to serve as Guardian ad Litem and Next Friend for deployed military servicemembers. His dedication to supporting families both in and out of court underscores his holistic approach to the practice of family law.

Jared is equally active in shaping the future of the profession. He has taught legal practice skills as an adjunct professor at Suffolk University Law School and is a frequent lecturer at programs hosted by the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, MCLE New England, and other professional organizations. His speaking engagements have covered topics at the forefront of family law—including digital assets in divorce, evidentiary issues in complex cases, and the use of artificial intelligence in trial practice. He has served in leadership roles with the MBA’s Family Law Section Council, the BBA’s Family Law Steering Committee, and the Greater Boston Family Law Inn of Court, reflecting his ongoing commitment to education, mentorship, and elevating professional standards.

Outside the courtroom and classroom, Jared remains engaged in his community. He volunteers his time through Veterans Legal Services, serves on the Town of Medfield Zoning Board of Appeals, and participates in a variety of Boston-based organizations.
