Julia represents entrepreneurs, growing businesses, and established middle-market companies to help them achieve their business objectives. Her practice also includes representing financial institutions and lenders in financing transactions. She brings niche experience in the hospitality industry, regularly representing restaurant owners and clients before licensing authorities, including the Boston Licensing Board, on liquor license transfers, pledges, and amendments.

Her transactional work spans the full deal lifecycle. Julia advises on mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset sales, and private placements, and she has negotiated on behalf of clients in cross-border transactions, including the sale of a U.S. business line to a Chinese publicly held company. On the lending side, she serves as lender’s counsel in debt financing transactions, drafting and negotiating financing and security instruments and managing title and UCC diligence. She also counsels clients on entity formation across multiple jurisdictions, corporate governance, and emerging compliance obligations such as the Corporate Transparency Act.
