In each case, Lauren steps in to offer not just legal clarity, but calm, capable leadership.
With a resolution-focused mindset, Lauren works to protect her clients’ interests while helping them preserve what matters most—family relationships, dignity, final wishes, and peace of mind. Whether in the courtroom or at the negotiating table, she is a strong advocate and a thoughtful communicator, dedicated to achieving legally sound and emotionally sustainable outcomes.
Emergency Guardianship to Support End-of-Life Care
Filed and obtained an emergency temporary guardianship on behalf of an adult sibling whose elder brother was in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease. The guardianship included authority to execute advanced end-of-life directives, allowing the client to implement appropriate comfort measures and secure admission to a hospice care facility—ensuring the respondent’s final days were spent with dignity and proper care.
Protecting an Elderly Individual from Financial Exploitation
In a contentious conservatorship matter involving allegations of financial abuse by family members, secured the appointment of a neutral, professional conservator. This action safeguarded the elderly respondent’s financial assets and overall well-being while helping to diffuse escalating family conflict and preventing further harm.
Defending a High-Value Estate in a Will Contest
Represented the nominated personal representative of a substantial estate in a will contest initiated by estranged relatives. Successfully defended the validity of the decedent’s will by leveraging medical records and comprehensive estate planning documents. Negotiated a favorable settlement that honored the decedent’s intentions while avoiding extended litigation and preserving estate value.
