A core focus of his work is leasing—negotiating and managing leases in the life sciences, retail, cannabis, and industrial sectors throughout New England and across the US He has deep experience advising retail and restaurant clients on leasing matters involving mixed-use developments, shopping centers, lifestyle centers, and urban retail locations.
In addition to his real estate work, Michael serves as outside general counsel to growth-oriented companies across industries such as technology, SaaS, telecommunications, medical devices, energy, and professional services. His corporate practice includes advising on business formation, venture and seed financings, complex commercial agreements, licensing and strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
