Allison L. Collins “Allie” concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, and estate tax planning. Allie counsels individuals and families of all backgrounds and with varying degrees of wealth. She also advises closely-held business owners on ways to maximize, preserve and protect the value of their businesses through proactive business succession planning.

In addition to counseling clients, Allie designs, drafts, and implements all related estate planning documents, ranging from simple to sophisticated tax-centered estate plans. She also has experience advising fiduciaries and beneficiaries through the estate settlement process, as well as preparing both Massachusetts and federal estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns.

Prior to joining Rubin and Rudman from Pabian & Russell, Allie established herself as an estate planning lawyer within both a boutique law firm as well as a mid-sized Boston firm. Through these roles, she gained litigation experience working on trust and estate litigation proceedings and helping families navigate guardianship and conservatorship matters. As a result, Allie has a great perspective on how to create plans that work well for clients across a range of scenarios. Allie is currently enrolled in courses to receive the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation from the American College of Financial Services, to better advise clients on charitable giving.
