Donna focuses her practice on estate planning, estate administration, and fiduciary counseling, with a particular emphasis on helping clients implement tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.
She works closely with individuals and families to develop tailored estate plans that address estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax considerations, often incorporating leveraged gifting techniques, irrevocable trusts, and limited liability entities.
Donna regularly advises owners of closely held and family-owned businesses on estate and business succession planning, helping them preserve wealth and navigate the complexities of multi-generational transitions. Her work includes structuring and implementing plans that align with clients’ long-term personal and financial goals.
She also counsels individual and institutional trustees on trust administration and modification, including trust reformation, decanting, and the use of non-judicial settlement agreements. In addition, Donna represents clients in all phases of estate administration and provides guidance on guardianships, conservatorships, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
