Jared Spinelli was an invited panelist at the Boston Municipal Court (BMC)’s 2023 Fall Judicial Conference, held on November 3. The conference, attended by BMC judges across all divisions, centered on the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the legal profession—specifically, how AI-driven tools are beginning to impact legal research, brief writing, and oral advocacy.
The BMC Department serves the City of Boston through eight court divisions and 30 judges. Referencing Spinelli’s presentation, BMC Associate Justice Tracy-Lee Lyons, Chair of the BMC’s Education Committee, remarked: “You piqued our interest and educated us on what to expect in the courtroom, and we will be better prepared after your presentation to address any issues involving this new technology. The judges are still talking about the presentation.”
Jared is a sought-after speaker on topics related to courtroom advocacy and trial practice. He regularly presents at programs hosted by the Massachusetts Bar Association, MCLE New England, the Boston Bar Association, and the Social Law Library.
