Boston Law Firm Relocating To New Office, Growing Footprint By One Third

Rubin Rudman was featured in the Boston Globe’s article, “Boston law firm relocating to new office.” As the Globe reports, the firm has outgrown its offices at 53 State Street, growing from 60 lawyers in 2017 to around 100 today, and its new space on floors 23 through 25 will offer about one-third more room, with views of Boston Harbor and the Charles River. Managing Partner John J. McGivney told the Boston Globe that moving to contiguous floors will help integrate the firm’s practices and build a sense of community.

According to the Globe, part of the firm’s growth came from attorneys joining from firms that had dissolved, bringing its total staff to about 190 employees. While most of the team comes into the office four days a week, McGivney told the Globe it isn’t a requirement, and he hopes the firm will eventually reach 125 attorneys as it continues its 106-year history in the city.
