Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Associate

Rubin and Rudman LLP, a mid-size, Boston-based law firm, is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an associate to join our growing business bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in business bankruptcy and related litigation, a strong academic background, and superb communication and writing skills. Membership in the MA, RI and related federal Bars is preferred.

Candidates should have a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and related legislation. Experience representing both debtors and creditors preferred.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience at a regional or national law firm or a well-regarded local firm.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of business litigation experience;
• Bankruptcy court experience is essential;
• J.D. degree and membership in good standing with the Massachusetts and Rhode Island and related federal Bars;
• Excellent writing, interpersonal and analytical skills are required; and
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and manage matters independently and proactively.
