Rubin and Rudman Elevates Ana E. Schwarz to Partner

Boston, MA (January 4, 2024) – Boston-based law firm Rubin and Rudman LLP is pleased to announce the elevation of Ana Schwarz to Partner, continuing the firm’s strong commitment to supporting the promotion of women at the firm.

Schwarz is a member of Rubin and Rudman’s Family Law department. She is licensed in both Massachusetts and Florida and has extensive experience handling complex cases involving divorce, paternity, guardian ad litem work, removal and relocation actions, post-judgment modifications, enforcement and contempt proceeding issues. Schwarz utilizes a resolution-focused approach to assist families in navigating through some of the most difficult experiences of their lives.

Schwarz also prepares and negotiates prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and has worked on child abduction cases before the United States District Court in the District of Massachusetts.

Joining the firm almost one year ago, Schwarz has already positively impacted the Family Law department, the firm and its culture. “I knew Ana would be an excellent addition to our team due to her previous experience, strong work ethic, and dedication to providing her clients with outstanding and thoughtful counsel,” said Susan Grandis, Chair of the firm’s Family Law Department. “We have all had a wonderful experience working with Ana.  She has enthusiastically embraced Rubin and Rudman’s commitment to community service and charitable involvement, and she has become a staunch advocate for the firm’s Women’s Initiative, and Young Professionals Group,” added Grandis.

While in law school at the University of Miami, Schwarz clerked for the Unified Family Court in the 11th Judicial Circuit Court in and for Miami-Dade County as well as the Criminal Court, gaining practical experience and exposure to how our justice system affects families and children.

Schwarz earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2013. Before pursuing her legal studies, Schwarz obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland in 2009.
