Boston, MA (January 3, 2024) – Boston-based law firm Rubin and Rudman LLP is pleased to announce the elevation of Andrea Y. Toulouse to Equity Partner. Rubin and Rudman is proud of its continued commitment to supporting the recruitment, retention, and promotion of women at the firm.

Toulouse, who was recently named Chair of the firm’s Real Estate department, has extensive experience in all areas of commercial real estate, including acquisition, development, financing, and leasing for a broad range of developers and financiers of commercial properties at a local, regional and national level. Her practice encompasses industrial properties, educational uses, suburban office parks, and downtown office buildings.

Toulouse, a trusted advisor to her clients, is skilled in negotiating acquisition and disposition documentation, conducting related due diligence, negotiating construction and permanent loan documentation, and drafting, negotiating and closing complex leases for her clients’ real estate holdings.

“Andrea’s recent elevations, first to Chair of our Real Estate department and now, as an equity member of the firm, are both well-deserved. They are a testament not only to her skills and experience as a real estate attorney but also her dedication to superb client service and an admirable leadership style,” said John J. McGivney, Managing Partner at Rubin and Rudman.

“I am honored to be recognized in this way and more than ready to build on what I have already accomplished and what the firm has built. I am also incredibly proud to work at a law firm that recognizes, supports and rewards women at every stage of their careers,” said Toulouse.

Toulouse has achieved recognition in multiple publications, including being featured in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a Go-To Commercial Real Estate Lawyer for 2023. Additionally, Toulouse earned a place in The Best Lawyers in America® for Real Estate Law in 2024 and was acknowledged by Boston magazine as one of the Top Lawyers in Real Estate Law for 2023.

Toulouse earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2002. Prior to that, she earned a B.A. in Political Science and Finance, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany in 1999.
