Rubin and Rudman’s Michael F. Connolly Recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Securities, Boston in The Best Lawyers in America 2023 Edition

Boston, MA (September 2022) – Michael F. Connolly, a Partner and Co-Chair of Rubin and Rudman’s Litigation Department, was recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” for Litigation – Securities, Boston in The Best Lawyers in America 2023 Edition. The Lawyer of the Year designation recognizes individual lawyers who have received the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. Only one lawyer is recognized for each specialty and location.

Connolly, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, is a seasoned litigator with extensive civil and criminal trial experience. For many longstanding clients, he serves as a trusted advisor.  Connolly routinely advises corporate executives, investors, entrepreneurs, government officials and agencies with respect to a wide range of business and legal issues including executive risk management, board disputes, internal investigations, and disputes with shareholders, government entities, and third parties.  Across federal, state, and administrative courts and agencies, he has tried numerous cases involving complex shareholder, business and real estate litigation.

Connolly is a member of the Board of Directors of the RFK Community Alliance (Perkins School); a member of the corporate giving committee and a Trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston; and a member of the Board of Directors of the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps. He is also a member of the President’s Council and Business Advisory Council at Providence College and a member of the advancement committee for Xaverian Brothers High School.

He received a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and a B.A. from Providence College.  After law school, he was a law clerk and chief law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
