Partner With Experience
For nearly 100 years, Rubin and Rudman attorneys have helped shaped the laws of changing times. We have responded to client needs with innovative approaches to the resolution of cases. While other larger firms have merged in order to exist in an ever changing legal environment, Rubin and Rudman has emerged as one of the nation’s strongest and most reliable firms, a reputation born out because of our enduring relationships with our clients. In Boston, we have been recognized as a top ranked law firm by LexisNexis®, Martindale-Hubbell® and Fortune Magazine.
Our years of experience and continuing dedication to providing high quality legal advice have earned us client loyalty and respect amongst our peers. Our attorneys thrive on challenging assignments across diverse areas of the law. Large and emerging companies and private individuals alike return to us year after year, and refer others to us. We serve national, international, and foreign companies, local and regional institutions, public entities and municipalities, closely held businesses, regulated industries, individuals and educational institutions.
Whatever your legal needs may be, Rubin and Rudman offers innovation and responsiveness, with a collaborative team approach to solving problems that get results.
Rubin and Rudman’s history began in 1919, and since our founding partners Harry and Abraham Guterman first formed the firm we have grown significantly, in both size and practice area expertise. We value our deeply rooted New England presence, yet work diligently toward the future to grow in a way that is best for our clients and for our firm.
Our history is deeply rooted in Boston, yet over time we have grown organically, both in breadth of practice areas and in office locations. We have had a presence within the Cape Cod community for over twenty years. In 2005, Chamberlain and Marsh, an established, highly regarded law firm in Yarmouthport joined our firm, expanding Rubin and Rudman’s services on Cape Cod and throughout southeastern Massachusetts.
In January of 2015, we expanded our firm to Washington, DC to better serve existing clients and to grow our Government Relations and Regulatory Strategies practice and work before federal agencies. We opened our first office on Capitol Hill, conveniently located just a short walk from the U.S. Capitol, the Senate and House office buildings, the United States Department of Health and Human Services, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and many other federal regulatory agencies. In the summer of 2016, we moved our growing Washington, DC office to a premiere building located across from the White House. Not only have we expanded our attorney presence in our nation’s capital, we have added additional practice groups, such as Energy, Intellectual Property and Government Contracting. We are excited about how our office has and will continue to strengthen the firm overall and benefit our existing and future clients.
Today, with almost 100 attorneys across three offices, our collegiality with one another and our continuity are significant advantages for our clients. Whatever the future brings, our commitment will continue to be to our clients and our profession.
