December 5, 2023

Boston, MA (December 5, 2023)Jared Spinelli, a partner in Rubin and Rudman’s Family Law group, was an invited panelist at the Boston Municipal Court (“BMC”)’s 2023 Fall Judicial Conference held on November 3. The conference program, attended by the BMC’s judges, focused on the emerging impact of artificial intelligence (“A.I.”) on the legal profession and how A.I.-based technology is making its way into the courtroom through practitioner research, brief writing, and oral argument.

The BMC Department serves the City of Boston with 30 judges in eight (8) court divisions throughout the city. Referencing Spinelli’s presentation, BMC Associate Justice Tracy-Lee Lyons, chair of the BMC’s education committee said “you peaked our interest and educated us on what to expect in the courtroom, and we will be better prepared after your presentation to address any issues involving this new technology. The judges are still talking about the presentation.”

Spinelli is a sought-after public speaker in the areas of courtroom advocacy and trial practice. He is frequently an invited speaker for legal education programs hosted by the Massachusetts Bar Association, MCLE New England, the Boston Bar Association, and Social Law Library.

Spinelli concentrates his practice on all aspects of complex, high-net-worth domestic relations law including divorce, child custody and support, alimony, and asset valuation matters.  His practice also includes family law appeals before the Massachusetts Appeals Court on a myriad of domestic relations issues including alimony, business valuation methodology, and the treatment of expert witness testimony.  He is recognized annually as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer (2018-2023), a Boston Magazine “Top Lawyer” (since inception, 2021-2023), and within the 2024 Best Lawyers in America.
