Rubin and Rudman Announces Election of Lynn E. O’Brien to the Executive Committee

BOSTON, MA – (May 2023) – Boston-based, full-service law firm Rubin and Rudman is proud to announce that Lynn E. O’Brien has been elected as the newest member of the firm’s Executive Committee. O’Brien succeeds former Executive Committee member and current Co-Chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group, Denise I. Murphy.

O’Brien, who joined Rubin and Rudman as a partner in January 2021 is a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates and Corporate departments. O’Brien focuses her practice on estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates. Her expertise includes designing, drafting, and implementing tax-efficient estate plans. She advises personal representatives and trustees in connection with the administration of estates and trusts. O’Brien has also established and advised not-for-profit organizations, including the preparation and filing of applications for federal tax exemption.

O’Brien is an active member of her community in Reading, where she has served as past president of the Friends of the Reading Public Library, a Town Meeting Member, and a member of numerous committees supporting both the Reading Public Schools and St. John’s Preparatory School.

Boston Magazine recently recognized O’Brien as a “Top Lawyer in Boston” for Trusts and Estates. She has been selected to Massachusetts Super Lawyers for the past three years. O’Brien received a J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law and a B.A. from Union College.
